The CET graduation level syllabus, as RSSB frames it for degree holders, covers Rajasthan and Indian history, art and culture, geography, polity and economy, everyday science, reasoning and mathematics, computers, current affairs, and general Hindi and English, tested in one OMR paper of 150 questions for 300 marks in 3 hours. It is a screening test: a qualifying score lets you apply for graduate-level posts such as Patwari, Village Development Officer and Junior Accountant for three years.
Read on for the paper format, a subject-wise topic breakdown, the minimum score, the posts it opens and a study plan. Candidates with only class 12 should read the Rajasthan CET syllabus page for the senior secondary level instead.

What the graduate CET does
Rajasthan uses one Common Eligibility Test to screen candidates for many subordinate and ministerial posts, instead of running a separate first round for each. The graduate level CET feeds twelve services, including:
- Patwari (revenue and irrigation), Village Development Officer and Tehsil Revenue Accountant
- Junior Accountant in state accounts and in the agricultural marketing board
- Women Supervisor and ICDS Supervisor, Deputy Jailor and Platoon Commander
- Hostel Superintendent Grade II in social welfare and tribal area development
Once you have a qualifying score, you apply separately when RSSB advertises each post. The main exam for that post then decides selection with a separate syllabus; two of the biggest posts have their next round explained on our Rajasthan patwari syllabus page and, separately, the Rajasthan VDO syllabus page.
Rajasthan CET graduation level exam pattern
| Item | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Questions | 150 objective items |
| Marks | 300, at 2 marks each |
| Duration | 3 hours |
| Penalty | About 0.67 lost per incorrect bubble |
| Not attempting | Darken the fifth bubble, option E |
| Format | Offline, bubbles filled by ball pen |
Reports of the latest graduation level notice still give 150 questions, 300 marks and 3 hours, so the graduate paper is now longer than the class 12 level CET, which was cut to 120 questions in its own latest notice. RSSB does not fix how many items each subject gets; subject splits quoted online are guesses based on earlier papers.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the graduate CET paper?
The graduate level paper has 150 multiple choice questions worth 2 marks each, for 300 marks in 3 hours. Recheck this in each new notification, since the class 12 level paper was recently shortened.
Is there negative marking in graduate level CET?
Yes. Every incorrect answer costs roughly 0.67 of the 2 marks. If you want to skip a question, darken option E rather than leaving it blank.
What is the passing mark of CET graduation level?
Reports of the latest notice put it at 40% for the unreserved, OBC, MBC and EWS groups, and 35% for SC and ST. Crossing it only opens the door to post-wise applications; no job is promised.
Which posts need the graduate CET score?
Twelve services, including Patwari, Village Development Officer, Junior Accountant, Tehsil Revenue Accountant, Women and ICDS Supervisor, Deputy Jailor, Platoon Commander and Hostel Superintendent Grade II.
How long is the CET graduation score valid?
Once declared, a qualifying score keeps you eligible for three years. During that period you can apply for any graduate-level post that RSSB advertises through the CET route.
Are final year students eligible for graduate CET?
Reports of the latest notification say they can. You must still hold the degree by the cut-off that the later post's notice fixes, so read both notices carefully.
